Inspiration is a slippery bastard, and usually comes to me when I’m in no position to draw. I’m fullest of ideas and motivation when I’m either pushing Eli’s tricycle uphill in the rain, or when I’m trying to fall asleep. I’ve tried getting up and writing/sketching things down in the middle of the night before, but the price of having to function on virtually no sleep the following day is a bit too steep for me these days. Ah well, I’ll figure this out somehow eventually.
